E-Governance

Around 621 institutions are affiliated from Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow in which around 4 lakhs students are studying. The institutions affiliated by the University are running courses like B.Tech, B. Pharma, B.Arch, Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, MBA, MBA(Rural Development), MCA, M.Pharma and M.Tech etc. The University has created an interactive web application to monitor and control the educational activities of various institutions under which following functions are carried out :-

  • Examination Form of the students are submitted through internet.
  • Sessional examination marks of the students are submitted online by the institutions.
  • Theory and practical marks in sessional examination are submitted by all institutions through Website.
  • The experimental examination marks are also submitted by the institutions through Website.
  • Verification of admit card of all the students for examination and roll list etc. provided to the institutions by the University through internet.
  • Bio-data of all the teachers working in all the institutions are deposited through Website.
  • Upon the receipt of the exam results, examination register is provided to the institutions through Website.
  • Announcement of examination result and results of students and in addition to this the general correspondence made by the University for all students and institutions is often done through the website.
  • The dispatch of question papers is done online.
  • Answer sheets are digitally evaluated.

    In addition to these, other general works and the work of online counseling for admission in various institutions etc. are being carried out by the University. Due to this method of counseling, students are prevented from the unnecessary travel to different places and discomforts.
    This web application is being used extensively by the University for the Educational Control of its affiliated institutions.

 

Website was structured by the Directorate of Technical Education, U.P, Kanpur through which following functions are carried out:-

  • The submission of monthly attendance of all the students in the classes is done by the institutions through Website and based on the presence of students; desired action is being taken by the University.
  • Information (like description of various courses, admission capacity and whole list) related to institutions of Government, Aided and Private Sector present within the state are being provided.
  • Admission related information in polytechnic.
  • Citizen Charter and Manual of the Department is also available on this Website.
  • Details of contact list have been provided in various organizations under the information officer.
  • Form and other information for the institutions being opened in the private sector in the state has also been made available through the website so that various interested institutions and individuals can get all the information and  forms etc. all at one place.
  • Additionally, link address of Websites related to departments that are Board of Technical Education, Joint Entrance Examination Council and Institute of Research, Development and Training are also provided on this Website.
