Achievements

  • SEAL (Secure, Efficient, Agile and Leak Proof) technology is being used in the entrance process in view of maintaining purity from academic session 2018-19.
  • To provide teaching-training in 74 streams in view of the needs of various industries and institutions.
  • Arrangement was done to provide 10 percent reservation to Economically Weaker Section (EWS) in the year 2019-20 as per the scheme of government. 
  •  To provide Wi-Fi facility to the students in institute premises through Reliance JIO, M.O.U. has been made in 96 institutes and out of which this facility is being provided in 69 institutes.
  • Virtual classrooms have been established in 47 polytechnics for online transmission of lectures.
  • Organizing of convocation has been started since two years in order to provide diploma to the passed out students in the same year.
  • After semester examination, the result is being announced within 45 days.
  • 180 Meritorious students have been awarded by Hon’ble Chief Minister during Technical    Talent Honour Ceremony with the Rs. 10,000/- for First Place, Rs. 9,000/- for Second Place and Rs. 8,000/- for Third Place as an incentive. 
  • On 17.02.2019, 75 projects were launched by Hon’ble Chief Minister, in which projects like 05 polytechnics, 14 Hostels, 08 other buildings, solar power plants in 08 institutes, Virtual Classrooms in 15 institutes and Computer lab were launched in 25 institutes.
  •  4096 girl/boy students for the year 2016-17 and 2017-18 have been provided Rs. 10,000/- each student by the Hon’ble Chief Minister under “Saksham Balika Sampann Pariwar” scheme.
  •  First 100 ranking holder applicants, first 100 ranking holders of SC/ST category and first 100 ranking holder girls of 2018 batch of Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh Lucknow, were honoured by Hon’ble Chief Minister by providing all of them with a Laptop.
  • In order to ensure the significance and quality of technical education in the scenario of quick development and creative moves in the field of technology, industries and management, NSQF based 06 courses were implemented in the year 2017-18 and 06 new courses were introduced since 2018-19.
  • To polish the quality of 1099 teacher, they have been nominated in various training programs and trained, apart; there is a planning to train more 1300 teachers in the year 2019-20.
  • With the aim to ensure more employment to students, placement cell at institute level, 10 R.P.C. at regional level have been established and STPC (State Technical Placement Cell) has been established on State Level in Joint Entrance Examination Council.  For this purpose an agreement has been made with Medha learning Foundation. For enhancing the soft skill in all the 147 government polytechnics, workshop, seminar, industrial visit as well as Rozgar Mela and campus interviews of various companies will be organized from academic year 2019-20.
  • For employment enhancement in the students at diploma level, free of cost preparation for interviews with soft skills and for overall personality development, an MOU has been exchanged between Technical Education Department (Diploma Sector) and Nandi Foundation Hyderabad in the presence of Hon’ble Chief Minister on 17.02.2019, which is benefiting the students.
  • To provide free of cost computer aided design and drafting training to the students under study, an MOU has been exchanged between Technical Education Department (Diploma Sector) and CAD Center Chennai on 15.02.2019 in presence of Hon’ble Chief Minister, which is benefiting the students.
